Days 30-32

I walked in after cleaning up from dinner and found Jon and Carter having a ball. Carter was literally belly laughing at his daddy!

Day 21-29 of 365

Day 11 and 12 of 365

Happy 9 Month Old handsome boy!

Today we took Carter to the Dr for his 9 month check up. His stats are: 23 pounds 6 oz and 28 inches long! Getting to be a big boy!!!!

Happy 9 Months, my sweet boy

I simply can NOT believe that today my sweet boy turned 9 months old. I can honestly say that I have NO idea where those 9 months have gone. I feel like a broken record because that's all I talk about. But, it really is just CRAZY how time has just FLOWN.
I feel like in the last month Carter has really grown up. Lots of things happened in his 8 month. He began to crawl and pull up. He is ALL over the place these days. I am not able to keep my eyes off of him for 2 seconds. Yes, he is a naughty little monkey sometimes! HA! :)
The other day he stood up with NO help and stood there for a good 5 seconds. I think he is going to be an early walker. Not sure how I feel about that!!!! Although I am not sure how much more my back can handle. HA! So, I may need him to walk sooner than later. :)
He is SO independent. He wants to do things HIMSELF. That includes eating. He won't hardly let me spoon feed him anything. He wants to use his hands and do it himself.
He is also very determined. NOT sure how that's going to be when he is a 2 year old. My Mom looked at me the other day and said, "hes going to get a lot of spankings when he is older." HAHAH. NAUGHTY little thing, I tell ya!
Tomorrow we go to the doctor for our 9 month check up. Can't wait to see how much he has grown since his 6 month appointment. (Which I feel like was just yesterday!)

Everyday I fall more and more in love with you. You are such an amazing little critter. You are always studying and looking at things. I think you are going be a computer nerd just like your daddy. HA! :)
Even though you can be very naughty, you have the CUTEST personality and are 99.99% of the time SMILING and LAUGHING.

Days 3,4 and 5 of 365

I am really enjoying the 365 project so far. Actually, I'm not sure who is enjoying it more..me or Jon! He asks me everyday, "Have you done it?! Which picture are you using?!"

Here is Day 3.
We had a pretty low key day. We stayed home and got caught up on some much needed housework. That night we put him in the tub and he was being ULTRA cute. I had already taken my 365 picture, but these definitely won out!

I did it!

Yesterday my friend Kimberly asked if I wanted to join her and her friend and their babies at the mall. I was BEYOND ready to "break free" of this apartment so I joined them!

Of course, I had only been to this mall 2 times, so I missed my EXIT and then got lost trying to find the food court. Sometimes I wonder if I really am blond. HAHA :) 

We had a great time and it was nice to have some "adult" conversation. Of course, it was mostly about babies, but we wouldn't have it any other way!

This morning I was trying to work on my photos and edit them. I brought all of my stuff and set it up in Carters room. He was playing with his toys until he saw me with my computer. It was all OVER from then on! :) It was too funny not to be my 365 picture!

I think he is going to be a computer guru like his daddy! :)

This afternoon we are going over to have play date with Isaac. I will take some pictures of post them this afternoon! :)

Project 365!

My Mom has convinced me to start the 365 project! :) I am SO excited about it. She tried to get me to start it last year, but I was too lazy. HA. Actually, I wish I had. Its amazing how much Carter has grown in this first year.

Mom gave us all scrapbooks from her 365 project last year. A gift I will cherish forever.
HEre are my first 2 days! :) I will be better about blogging this year. And doing this project will help me be better with it! :)

Carter is 8 1/2 months.

January 2, 2012-
I gave Jon a SODASTREAM in effort to save money on drinks. Between the two of us we can put down some sodas!

8 weeks and counting

This weekend we went to Jon's Moms house for her 50th Birthday dinner celebration. My mom decided to take it as an opportunity to make some pictures. (surprise, surprise!)

Here we are at 31.5 weeks pregnant! I am feeling GREAT and can't complain at all!

On Sunday I got to see my best friend of 26 years! Her brother is getting married and Mom and I went to the tea! Here is Carly and Me. Couldn't have asked for a better BFF. Love ya, Carly!

We were really excited to have My Mom and Kemp come back with us for the night. She took me to Posh Mommy to pick out my Baby gift! (A beautiful piece of furniture! THANKS, GRANJAN AND BIG T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

As if I didn't eat enough at Cracker Barrel..Jon and my Mom FORCED me to eat an Ice Cream Sundae. ;-) I had been craving one for about 4 days, but TRY really hard to be good and not eat things like that. I have done SO good with my weight gain and don't want to ruin it at this point, BUT I gave in. And man it was worth EVERY single CALORIE!

(Don't worry Mom documented me eating it! HAHA!)

The next day we got up on went to Posh Mommy. Here is a picture of my BEAUTIFUL gift. I couldn't be happier and more excited. Thank you so much, Mom and Dad! This is something Jon and I couldn't have afforded ourselves. Carter is SO BLESSED to have you to call Grandparents.

After we got the armoire, we decided that yes, I was hungry again. HAHA. We decided on Logan's. I have had the ODDEST pregnancy craving. SWEET POTATOES. I have always HATED them, but ever since I have been pregnant, I can't get enough of them!! Well, I saw it on the menu and I was done. Sweet Potato it was for lunch!!

After we ate we headed back to Birmingham to take Kemp home. That boy is the sweetest thing in this world and has the BEST manners of child I have ever known.

Last night we had dinner with Kelley and Ryder at the mall. Here we are with our Bumps:

Today we picked up Daisy from Playschool. That child CRACKS.ME.UP! She is her Mom MADE OVER. Everything she says is HILARIOUS and kinda bad. HAHA. Here we were today spending some time together...

Well, there is my life over the past few days! It has been a whirlwind, but so much fun! :) I am going home tomorrow and will be back AGAIN next weekend. I am having Maternity pictures done with Amanda Traywick next week. Check out her Website. www.amandatraywick.com

She is also doing Carters newborn pictures, which I am SO excited about!
