WOW, 2 post in a week. Are you proud of me, GranJan?! (OK, so I started on this post a WEEK ago and have YET to finish it!!!)

Carter and I had a fun day out yesterday. Carter got to model for a local store in his cloth diapers. He looked SO cute in his cloths with his little chunky legs and big tummy hanging out! HA. :) I can't wait to see the pictures! Hopefully she will have the pictures up very soon! :)

Carter has really amazed me lately. He has been rolling over from his tummy to his back since we brought him home from the hospital. No one (except GranJan) believed that he was doing it. But, we finally got a video of him doing and he hasn't stopped since. :) When I went for his 2 month check up and told my pediatrician he wasn't a BIT surprised. We can't even do tummy time anymore because he IMMEDIATELY flips over! He has REALLY been trying to roll from his back to his tummy this week. I don't think it will be much longer. He is also doing really incredible in his bumbo seat. He has great head control. I have a feeling he will be sitting up in the next month or so. He thinks he's bigger then his. I *really* need him to slow down and be a BABY. He is growing to fast!!!!

For Moms birthday, we got to spend the week at the beach! It was SO nice to be able to get away. The last time Jon and I were at the beach together was when we got married almost 3 years ago! I can't believe its been 3 years! My parents kept Carter for us and we went and ate at Fish out of Water in Watercolor. The FIRST time we had any time alone since Carter was born. Was so nice to have a nice dinner, but of course all we talked about was our sweet little man and I couldn't wait to get back to him. (I think I am realizing that as much as I like the idea of getting out without him, I just miss him too much! :) Even last saturday Jon kept him while I was going to do some errands and I was home within an hour, picked BOTH of them up, and finished our errands. :) Yes, I am a bit obsessed with my baby boy. ) Anyways, back to the beach....

We spent 7 days in paradise. We were so afraid it was going to rain the whole time because it was 60% chance every day we were there. We had rain the first day but after that it was BEAUTIFUL. I couldn't take Carter to the beach except for one day. It was just too hot and with him not able to wear sunscreen yet, I just didn't want to risk it. Still, it was fun just to get away! Here are some of my favorite pictures from the beach:

By the way, these are in NO sort of order. I hate how blogger uploads pix!
