So, its been a while since my last post! Not toooo much has happened! :)
Jon found out last week he is going to SWITZERLAND in 1 1/2 weeks for work. All expense paid trip. Can we say LUCKY?! I am very jealous, but happy that he is getting to go! And its for work, so there won't be much time to play. (or so he says! LOL!)
Carter had been REALLY fussy the past few weeks. Well lets be honest, since July. Poor baby. I couldn't figure out what was wrong with him. I had taken him to the doctor back in August and they said he looked perfect. I liked to call that our "social" visit to the doctor. Well, he seemed to get fussier and fussier and the worst was at night time. After 3 nights of literal NO sleep, I decided to take him back in. Come to find out my sweet boy has GERD (acid reflux) and that's what has caused all of his pain and no sleep. We were prescribed Zantac and oh my goodness, what a DIFFERENCE! He is like a totally different child. He is now sleeping in his OWN bed from 7pm-4am with a little "breakfast" as I like to call it, then back to sleep in his bed from about 4:30-7! :) I am AMAZED and so THANKFUL to our pediatrician for finding out what was wrong with our sweet baby. :)
I have been having some tummy issues ever since my gallbladder surgery. I've lost down to 20 pounds less than my pre-pregnancy weight, which concerned the surgeon. He put me on some medicine, which doesn't seem to be doing one thing. I am hoping and praying that it will kick in. The not being able to eat anything is just horrible. (the weight loss is fine with me, tho!) If this stuff doesn't work, they want me to go to the GI for more testing. YIKES. So, please say a prayer that it will start working and that I will start to feel better. :) (and actually able to EAT!)
Anyway, just a quick update. Next one will be about the BABY FOOD I've been making! :)
