Weekend recap!

I can't believe next Monday, Carter will be 5 months old!!!!! Where have the past 5 months gone, seriously?!? Everyone told me to soak it in because it would go fast, but I didn't know it would go THIS fast!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have a growing little BOY on our hands. Over the past week our sweet boy has started rolling ALL over my den. I can't keep him on his pallet anymore! He rolls from one side of the room to the next. I can't believe he has mastered rolling back to stomach, stomach to back all before being 5 months old. He is one determined little boy! Not only is he rolling, but...
he CUT 2 TEETH this weekend!!!!! The doctor told us last time we were at his check up it wouldn't be long. I didn't think it would be this quick tho!! Poor thing, I wondered why he was so fussy and it all makes sense. Its like 2 little razor blades on his bottom gums! The boy is ready for FOOD! HA! :)

We enjoyed spending the past few days with Ryder and Kelley. The last time I saw Ryder he was barely even 2 weeks old! Now he is 4 months. And boy do they change so much in those first few months. I loved being able to snuggle and cuddle with him. He is such a sweet baby boy. I so wish that he was here to be Carter's buddy. I know they would be best of friends and probably get in LOTS of trouble, too! HA! :) I definitely cried when I told Ryder good bye. It will be after Christmas before I see them again and it makes my heart VERY sad. Kelley and I have got to figure out the 2 hour difference so we let our boys skype each other! :)

We also spent Saturday night with G and Grandpa. (Jons mom and step dad!) They are keeping him again for us on Saturday so we can go to a wedding. It will be the longest I will be without my little man. (other than my gallbladder surgery!) I am sure going to miss him and I'm sure Ill be wanting to get home ASAP! :) (but, it will be nice to be able to have a "date" with Jon!)

Here are some pictures that I took of Carter this morning! He is growing SO fast that I don't think he is going to be able to wear any of the clothes I got him for the fall! I am glad it was "chilly" today to at least put him in some of it!







Well, baby boy just woke up from his nap! Better run!!
