Here is how our day went on Feb. 27th, 2013. I had a doctor's appt in the morning. Dr. Wheeler told me that I "could go any minute" now. Said baby was "right there" and he didn't see me going much longer at ALL. Of course, I was hoping he would induce but I still had a week till my due date. But, he kept saying he was SURE I would be going before then!!!! Soooo, after my doctor's appt' , me and Mom decided to do what we do best. Eat and shop! HAHA! We went to LIME and had Mexican food for lunch and then we walked around for awhile and went to Target. Carter had a babysitter so we shopped a little but when I called he hadn't gone down for a nap so we went on back home. Of COURSE, he had just fallen asleep when we got there! But, I realized I was tired so I decided to rest. But something kept me from napping much. Yep, guess that pineapple worked that mom made me eat (supposedly it helps bring on contractions if you are close!)! During the afternoon, I noticed my contractions had started up again, much more regular this time! I was glad Mom was here ! Natalie called and asked, "do you think I should come on?" with a 2 hour trip , I was beginning to think so but hated for her to come up and then it be a false alarm! But around 4 I told mom to call her and tell her to come because the contractions were getting closer and stronger. By then, I knew this was it. Jon came home and brought us dinner and soon after Natalie, Kemp and Daisy arrived.Natalie walked in and said, "I drove like a bat out of hell to get here!" HAHA! I took a long bath and got all my stuff together, along with my baby girl's clothes and her little diaper bag. It felt surreal! I was thinking, "when I come back, I'll have a baby girl with me!" It just seemed so odd that, after 9 long months, it was actually time! Our baby was really coming!!!! Natalie hugged me good-bye and then told me, "HURRY UP AND GO!" So, around 8:30 P.M., Jon/Mom and I left to go to the hospital and it was FREEZING cold!!!!! we got there and guess what I had left? My billfold with all my info! So, we had to turn around and go back to get it!!! OMG! Anyway, we got there, parked right in front and walked in. (guess I should've taken the hospital tour like I was supposed to because we were walking around trying to find where to go!). We had walked through the emergency room and everyone was staring at me with my big belly/my pillow and suitcase and asking "where is labor and delivery?" Anyway, we walked the way they told us, to the front, and it looked deserted! WHERE DO WE GO? OMG, comedy of errors! Jon finally found a sign that pointed to the elevator for Labor/Delivery!.....that's where I'll stop for now! More tomorrow!(or whenever my 2 bebe's go to sleep at the same time!)!....
